Prayer before going to teach



Heavenly father bless me as I go to my teaching today.
Help me to do my work, honestly, efficiently and with patience
and  understanding.
So that we may be not only teacher and student but friends.
Give me joy in every undertaking
 and
give us health of mind body and soul.

My burden you bore, with sweet pain you delivered.
Me from them sterious 'unknown', to the mortifying 'know'.

You fed me with your milk, you care me with your love.
You smiled and scented me, you made me, the child, the man.

Your breath is my breath.
Your being is my being.
You are me, I am you.
